Dykon drilled as many small diameter bore holes as possible in a 72-inch diameter circle to increase the speed and reduce wear and tear on the caisson drill.

PROJECT DETAILS

Solid limestone was making it slow and difficult for the contractor to drill three 72-inch caissons for the installation of a new high-power electrical transmission line.  Dykon drilled as many small diameter bore holes 18 feet deep in a 72” diameter circle as possible to facilitate the drilling of the larger holes with the caisson drill.  This decreased drilling time for the caisson holes and reduced the wear and tear on the customer’s equipment.
