PROJECT DETAILS
Dykon Blasting was contracted in the spring of 2015 to assist on the Osage Wind Farm Project, located in Oklahoma. The wind farm includes 84 turbines, each measuring 420 feet in height. Dykon performed both the blasting and specialty contract drilling for this project while working with Hooper Corp. Dykon designed a unique template to drill the 6” holes on a 45 degree angle. Accuracy was crucial in these anchor holes, and Dykon drilled 22 holes at 45 degrees at varying depths.
