PROJECT DETAILS
Dykon blasted 40,492 ft of rock and 80,996 cubic yards of mass rock on these 80 miles of 36-inch pipeline. Dykon completed the blasting for 2 spreads on this Ohio based pipeline, each with their own unique obstacles that needed to be overcome. One spread had a very accelerated production schedule, which Dykon was able to maintain without delaying other crews. The other spread had extremely difficult geological conditions, excessive mud and water, and paralleled an existing line. Dykon was able to work through these conditions and well as work with the contractor to complete the project on time.
