PROJECT DETAILS
During construction of a new bridge and alignment on Hwy 99, mechanical excavation was not capable of handling the large quantity of rock in a timely manner. Dykon was onsite within a couple days and was able to shoot 44,509 cubic yards of rock, completing 10 blasts in under two weeks. All precautions were taken for the adjacent road and Dykon successfully coordinated traffic control with the contractor at various times during the day.
