PROJECT DETAILS
Dykon blasted 82,331 ft of rock and 424,453 cubic yards of mass rock on these 140 miles of 20 inch pipeline. The biggest challenge for this project was coordinating blasting next to multiple parallel lines at variable distances and all with their own unique guidelines and PPV restrictions. The Dykon team was able to successfully meet these varied requirements, submit all necessary paperwork, communicate with appropriate field personnel, and abide by PPV limits all while meeting the contractor’s timeframe and footage needs.
