PROJECT DETAILS

After a storm moved through Stockton Lake in Missouri in 2007, it completely collapse one high voltage electrical transmission tower and concrete pier laying  to rest in 25ft of water.  Dykon was brought in to drill and blast the concrete pier that lay on the bottom of the lake.  Dykon used our own in house divers to set the explosive charges under water and tie the shot together.  The remaining steel tower and concrete pier were also demolished to make way for replacements.  In total, 315 pounds of strategically placed explosives were  detonated on the structures.
