Dykon was contracted to perform the explosive demolition on a smoke stack, water tower and a boiler house for the Parsons Power Plant in Kansas.  The smock stack and water tower were both 175’ tall, and were comprised of concrete and metal, respectively. Dykon used dynamite, det-cord [detonating cord]  and linear shape charges for the implosion project.
