PROJECT DETAILS
In 2009 Dykon got the call to perform some mass rock blasting on Highway 62 in Green Forest, Arkansas. The State of Arkansas was looking to expand the lanes on the highway, and due to the solid limestone, precision blasting had to be utilized to remedy the situation. Dykon partnered with Jimmy Jones Excavation and carefully planned the traffic control and matting of shots to work within the time constraints. About 10,250 cubic yards had to be blasted next to an occupied home and business on either side of the road.
